You can borrow books that may be borrowed over the weekend, i.e. from Friday (10:00 at the earliest) until Monday (12:00 at the latest). You need a library card to borrow books. You receive your library card at the library information desk once you have presented your student ID card (or an official photo ID card if you are not a student).
You may not borrow periodicals, loose-leaf items, reference works such as lexicons, pharmacopoeia, dictionaries, handbooks, academic theses and old books. Please see the relevant details on u:search.
YOU MAY ONLY BORROW LOCKER KEYS, KENSINGTON LOCKS AS WELL AS BOOKS IF YOU CAN PROVIDE A VALID LIBRARY CARD INCLUDING A BAR CODE STICKER (EXCEPT FOR JUSTIFIED EXCEPTIONAL CASES FOR EXTERNAL USERS).
REQUESTING A LIBRARY CARD: Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 16:00
COLLECTING THE LIBRARY CARD: If possible, collect your library card immediately or on the next working day (please note the opening hours of the Library) at the latest.

PLEASE NOTE: You also need the bar code sticker to borrow locker keys and Kensington locks.
