With more than 50,000 monographs, academic theses (habilitation theses, doctoral theses, diploma and master’s theses), on-site accessible reference works and periodicals subscriptions (in printed or, currently primarily electronic form), our holdings reflect the entire discipline of pharmacy, ranging from general drug/medicine information and pharmacopoeia to medicinal/pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology and toxicology, pharmacognosy, pharmaceutical technology, biopharmacy, pharmaceutical practice, clinical pharmacy, the history of pharmacy and phytoherapy.
In the area of nutritional sciences, the focus of the collection has shifted from the previous emphasis on nutritional science and home economics to modern nutritional physiology, nutritional economics and nutritional medicine with an emphasis on functional food and public health. However, gourmets can still find a wide range of appetising recipe books and cookbooks on our shelves.
